The Acura RDX is a compact crossover that's the most popular SUV that Acura makes. Both the 2024 and 2025 models are reassuringly similar because the RDX operated at such a high level for 2024 that it didn't need many changes for the 2025 model year. The 10.2-inch touch screen in the 2025 RDX is more of a technology refinement. The screen size is the same for both model years but the display space is used more completely when Tampa drivers have either wireless Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™ operating.
All five available trim levels in the Acura RDX for both 2024 and 2025 give Kissimmee buyers a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 272 horsepower and 272 pound-feet of torque. The power is managed by a smooth 10-speed automatic transmission, four Integrated Dynamic Systems (IDS™) drive modes and Acura's signature Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD™) system. Once again, the interior is well-crafted to meet Acura's high standards and the infotainment technology is at the next-generation level.
If you're in the market for a mid-size luxury SUV, the new Acura MDX will check a lot of important boxes: Outstanding performance, a top-quality interior and plenty of advanced technology. The new Acura MDX continues to operate with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that generates 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque.Perhaps the biggest news for 2025 is that the MDX gets a mid-cycle refresh that includes a 12.3-inch infotainment interface that runs Google software.
In addition, the center console has been redesigned with a standard wireless charging pad along with USB-C ports. Audio upgrades in the new 2025 MDX now include two additional speakers for the standard system and Orlando buyers can upgrade to an available Bang & Olufsen premium audioi system with up to 31 speakers. The Acura MDX for 2025 offers available power massaging Milano leather front seats and the Type S has a redesigned front chair system with ultra-suede bolsters.
Exterior re-styling for the 2025 MDX includes a new front fascia with darker headlights and taillights. The MDX A-Spec and Technology and Advanced packages each give Brandon drivers updated 20-inch wheels. Meanwhile, the Type S version of the MDX comes with a redesigned set of 21-inch wheels.
The Acura ZDX is Acura's first all-electric vehicle. It's a compact SUV with a wagon-like body style that's different from the compact Acura RDX silhouette. For both 2024 and 2025 the ZDX will be equipped with either a single-motor, rear-wheel drive (RWD) system that delivers 358 horsepower and 324 pound-feet of torque, or a dual-motor/AWD setup that produces 499 horsepower and 544 pound-feet of torque. Driving range is limited to about 313 miles which is considerably less than the 470 miles of driving range you'd get in the comparable gas-powered Acura RDX compact SUV. You would need to plan on up to eight hours to reach full charge in the ZDX.
